Fibre Delivery Manager
Job Description
This is a Management role in the Callan Connect Delivery Portfolio.
We are looking for an experienced individual with at least 3 years experience in Fibre Delivery.
The successful candidate will lead the Fibre Delivery teams (subcontractor and direct employees) and work with business counterparts in designing and delivering the overall construction programme.
Main responsibilities will include:
Responsible for the Fibre Delivery across all build cities and owner of the Fibre Delivery plan
Support the programme team in supplying progress reports on all fibre work activities
Issue and jeopardy management
Tracking the progress of all direct fibre works and preparing reports for commercial team
Quantity tracking and governance against the build, supporting the site manager and commercial team
Verifying the subcontractor invoices ahead of commercial team - approving completion of works
Manage the onsite variations and additional works to ensure it's tracked and updates given to the asbuilt and commercial teams
Stakeholder Management - internal stakeholders and client stakeholder relationship management
Manage client expectations including site walk off/audits with the client
Drive quality and compliance in the field
Skills and Experience
Experienced in Telecoms FTTP build - detailed understanding BDUK experience Excellent communicator Reliable, conscientious, and co-operative Ability to lead a team, work on own initiative Experience of working with city planners and network architecture teams - therefore a detailed understanding of a fibre build and network delivery Previous experience overseeing engineering staff Self-motivated, able to motivate others effectively and work as part of a team Excellent time-management skills Great communication skills at all levels Good commercial and cost management experience Working knowledge of Microsoft packages Full UK Driving Licence
