Telent are looking for a Fibre Support Administrator to join our growing Wireless team, working on our Fibre capabilities. This role provides a Hybrid working / Agile working set up; you will have the opportunity of supporting our Fibre Surveyors for various site visits across the Scotland region, AND, autonomously work from home (remote). There will be the odd occasion where you may be required to travel and work out of our Livingston (Scotland) office.

Fibre Support Administrator - What you\'ll do:

  • Desktop review of proposed survey / surveyable areas
  • Preparation and administration of survey packs
  • Support Fibre Surveyors on site visits (3-4 days per week)
  • On the job learning of all survey requirements
  • Highlight and escalate any major variances to the nominated Project Lead
  • Communicate with our Surveyors to resolve any site related issues (eg. Site access)
  • Preparation and checking of A55\'s / A55 documents - training will be provided (on the job training)
  • Prepare and submit survey completions to the relevant client in required formats for each completed job
  • Work in accordance with Telent and customer H&S policies/procedures
Fibre Support Administrator - Who you are:

The ideal Fibre Support Administrator will have a genuine passion and interest in the world of Telecommunications, Wireless Communications and / or Fibre. We are looking for an Administrator who will really go above and beyond to support our Fibre Surveyors on site when required, and other members of the team on any Administration tasks / Support tasks. The Fibre Support Administrator DOES NOT need to come from a Fibre background. On the job training around Fibre jargon and processes will be provided, as long as you are willing to learn and develop through our training.

Fibre Support Administrator - Key requirements:
  • Full UK Driving Licence and flexibility to travel to various sites across Scotland
  • Administration experience, in a Fibre industry related role (desirable but not essential)
  • Attention to detail and accuracy coupled with a \'can do\' attitude
  • Good IT skills, and proficient in using Microsoft Office package (eg. MS Word, MS Excel)
  • Ability to work within a team and with Contractors
  • Ability to work under pressure and achieve targets
  • Able to communicate with people across multiple locations and at different levels, able to identify and work with key stakeholders inside and outside of Network Services business.
  • Good knowledge of Health & Safety regulations
