Field Care Supervisor

Job summary -

Field Care Supervisor - 18 -32 Hours a week Post including Weekends and some possible evenings.

Trinity Care and Support provide Domiciliary Care and a Respite Service to clients, enabling them to live more fulfilling lives whilst helping them remain in their own home and integrate into the community.

We provide high-quality person-centred care, supporting clients to remain independent considering their individual personality and lifestyle choices.

As a Field Care Supervisor, you will be responsible for the ongoing support of both support staff and clients, ensuring delivery of the highest quality care services.

Field Care Supervisors are expected to spend much of their working time in the community carrying out their primary functions, but their role will typically also entail a certain amount of office-based administrative work. Applicant's will work on a rota basis including weekends.

Qualifications

Essential

Hold or working towards, minimum QCF/NVQ level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care.

Desirable

Agree to advance studies by doing up to Level 5 in Health and Social Care

Specific Skills

Essential

Using your skills to make a real positive difference to clients and their family's lives. Effective keyboard/IT skills, which include accurate recording skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills written, face to face and over the telephone. An understanding of the importance of confidentiality.

Experience

Essential

Ability to learn new skills and gain new experience Ability to use own initiative Ability to communicate effectively Previous experience of working within a healthcare environment Caring for a family/friend

Personal Qualities

Essential

Fitness to carry out the function of post which may include moving and handling, use of hoist, wheelchair, personal care, cooking, cleaning, shopping, leisure, educational & employment activities.

Information Technology

IT Literate

Desirable

Experience of using electronic recording systems Experience of using electronic rostering systems Experience/knowledge of Microsoft office. (word, excel, power point)
