Duties
Supervise daily operations within the care home, ensuring compliance with care plans and organisational policies
Lead and support care staff, promoting best practices in senior care and fostering a positive team environment
Develop, review, and update personalised care plans in collaboration with residents, families, and healthcare professionals
Monitor the delivery of care to ensure it meets quality standards and regulatory requirements
Conduct staff training sessions and performance evaluations to maintain high levels of service
Coordinate schedules, assign tasks, and oversee staff rotas to optimise operational efficiency
Communicate effectively with service users, families, healthcare providers, and team members to ensure clear understanding of needs and expectations
Drive between multiple locations as required, maintaining vehicle safety standards at all times
Maintain accurate records using IT systems for documentation, reporting, and compliance purposes
Participate in the oncall on a rotational basis additional benefit provided when oncall Work 50/50 spending half your working week supporting hands on frontline services and the remaining proportion of your time supporting complaince
Qualifications
Proven supervising experience within a homecare setting
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide teams effectively
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Valid driving licence with a clean driving record
Knowledge of care plans, regulatory standards, and best practices in social care
Proficiency in IT systems for documentation and reporting purposes
Ability to organise workload efficiently whilst maintaining attention to detail
Compassionate approach with a genuine interest in supporting older adults' wellbeing
