Job Summary:



We are seeking a self-motivated and reliable Field Engineer to join our team. Based in Birmingham B48, this role involves traveling across the UK to service and repair our key management solutions at various automotive dealerships. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, excellent attention to detail, and a positive attitude.

Key Responsibilities:



Installation, Maintenance, and Repair:

Install, maintain, and repair mechanical and electronic key management solutions at client sites.

Customer Service:

Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service and communication.

Documentation:

Maintain detailed records of service visits, including issues addressed, parts used, and client interactions.

Training:

Train dealership staff on the proper use and maintenance of key management systems.

Compliance:

Ensure all work complies with company standards and regulatory requirements.

Sales:

Upsell consumable products to customers onsite.

Requirements:



Technical Skills:

Strong technical background desirable, preferably in electronics or a related field.

Experience:

Previous experience in a field service role.

Education:

Relevant technical qualification or equivalent experience.

Driving License:

Full, clean UK driving license.

Travel:

Willingness to travel extensively across the UK, with occasional overnight stays.

Communication Skills:

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Problem-Solving:

Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

Self-Motivation:

Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
