We're seeking a dedicated

Field Service Engineer

to carry out repairs, servicing, and installations of gym equipment in customers' homes and commercial settings across the North of England and into Southern Scotland. You'll be instrumental in keeping treadmills, cross trainers, rowers, and exercise bikes running safely and smoothly--helping customers stay active and healthy.

This role suits someone with strong technical ability who enjoys working independently, troubleshooting issues, and delivering outstanding customer service.

Key Responsibilities

Travelling throughout the northern regions and into Scotland to service customer locations Installing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of fitness equipment Diagnosing and resolving mechanical and electrical faults efficiently Carrying out safety inspections to ensure compliance with company and industry standards Communicating clearly and professionally with customers, maintaining a friendly and solution-focused approach Offering practical advice on equipment use and maintenance Recording job details, parts used, and customer feedback accurately Managing van stock and liaising with warehouse and parts teams when required Escalating recurring technical or safety concerns to the technical team

What We're Looking For

Previous experience in servicing, repair, or maintenance--ideally involving mechanical or electrical equipment A hands-on, methodical approach with strong problem-solving skills Excellent communication and customer service abilities Ability to plan routes, manage time effectively, and work autonomously Confidence using digital systems for job tracking and reporting Full UK driving licence and a professional, customer-focused attitude Experience with gym or fitness equipment is beneficial, but full training will be provided
