Job Description

My client is seeking for a Field Service Engineer to support my client\'s UK wide roll out of electric vehicle charging points.
This is a field-based role, mainly covering London and the surrounding counties with potential for UK wide travel, as we continue to expand our network across the country. You should have experience working in a similar position and be able to assess technical faults in the field. You should be able to work independently and be proficient in MS office. You should feel confident explaining technical processes and be able to explain this to other members of staff. We\'re looking for someone will a get up and go attitude that isn\'t afraid to get stuck in.

The role

• Performing proactive maintenance and keeping our charge points functional and clean, ensuring our customers have the best charging experience.
• Installation and commissioning of new Charge Points
• Attending reactive maintenance and providing root cause analysis for faults
• Performing minor field repairs to damaged Charge Points
• Conducting site surveys to assess the suitability of new locations and provide valuable feedback for future locations.
• Providing technical support to the wider team and feed into the quality department when required
• Working in partnership with and supporting our subcontractors as and when required

Your Profile

• A hard worker who is electrically confident.
• Organised
• EV experience if none then street lighting, highways, or anything similar line of work.
• Meticulous attention to detail and who takes pride in their work.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Self-started who\'s able to work independently, but also as part of a team.
• Be proactive and able to use their own initiative.
• Flexible approach to a varying workload
• Be comfortable working independently on site.

Professional Qualifications:

• 18th Edition
• Hold a level 3 technical or electrical qualification/ diploma.
• HERS accredited - Desired but not essential
• JIB card holder - Desired but not essential
• ECS Gold Card - Desired but not essential
• Full UK driving license (25 years + maximum of 6 penalty points)
