We're looking for a proactive

Field Service Engineer

to carry out repairs, servicing, and installations of gym equipment in homes and workplaces across the North of the country. You'll play a key role in keeping treadmills, cross trainers, rowers, and exercise bikes operating safely and efficiently - helping customers stay active and healthy.

This position is well suited to someone with strong practical experience who enjoys working independently, resolving technical issues, and providing excellent customer service.

The Role

Travelling throughout the North to visit customer locations Installing, servicing, and repairing a wide range of gym equipment Diagnosing and fixing mechanical and electrical faults efficiently Carrying out safety checks to ensure all work meets company and industry standards Communicating clearly and professionally with customers, maintaining a friendly and solution-focused approach Offering helpful guidance on safe use and routine maintenance of equipment Accurately recording job details, parts used, and customer feedback Managing van stock and liaising with warehouse and parts teams when required Reporting any recurring technical or safety concerns to the technical team

What We're Looking For

Previous experience in field service, repair, or maintenance--ideally involving mechanical or electrical equipment A practical, problem-solving mindset Strong communication and customer service skills Ability to manage your own schedule and plan routes effectively Confidence using digital systems for job management and reporting Full UK driving licence and a professional, customer-focused approach Experience with fitness or gym equipment is advantageous, but full training will be provided
