Role Objective:



As Installation Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of our secondary glazing. This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering high-quality service to clients.

You will work both independently and as part of a team to ensure that our secondary glazing is functioning efficiently and safely. This role requires a lot of flexibility, with frequent travel across the UK and weekly hotel stays.

Key Tasks



Installation:



Install new secondary glazing according to specifications and safety standards. Ensure proper alignment, sealing, and operation of all installed units. Work with various materials, including aluminium and glass.

Maintenance:



Perform routine maintenance and inspections on windows to ensure proper functionality. Adjust, lubricate, and replace components as necessary to maintain smooth operation. Identify potential issues and recommend preventive measures

Repair:



Diagnose and troubleshoot problems with secondary glazing. Repair or replace damaged components, including glass, frames, seals, locks, and hinges. Provide temporary fixes when immediate repairs are not possible and schedule follow-up visits as needed.

Customer Service:



Communicate with clients to understand their needs and provide clear explanations of services required. Ensure all work is completed to the client's satisfaction and address any concerns promptly. Provide aftercare advice and guidance on maintaining our window system.

Documentation and Reporting:



Maintain accurate records of all installations, maintenance, and repair activities. Provide detailed reports on the condition of windows, including any issues identified and actions taken. Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.

Experience:



Previous experience in window installation, repair, or maintenance. Beneficial if previous Secondary glazing experience You must hold a UK Driving Licence

Skills:



Strong technical skills and hands-on experience with tools and equipment used in window services. Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. Good communication and customer service skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Physical Requirements:



Ability to lift heavy objects, climb ladders, and work in various weather conditions. Strong hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 30,000.00-35,000.00 per year
