Duties
Design and develop electrical systems and components using software such as Revit, SolidWorks, and MicroStation.
Conduct debugging and troubleshooting of electrical systems to ensure optimal performance.
Collaborate with mechanical engineers to integrate electrical designs with mechanical systems.
Utilise logic controllers for automation processes and control systems.
Develop firmware for embedded systems, ensuring functionality aligns with project requirements.
Perform simulations using tools like Simulink and MATLAB to validate designs before implementation.
Prepare technical documentation, including specifications, reports, and design reviews.
Participate in project meetings to provide updates on progress and address any technical challenges.
Requirements
A degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
Proficiency in Revit, SolidWorks, MicroStation, Simulink, and MATLAB is highly desirable.
Strong debugging skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex electrical systems.
Solid understanding of logic controllers and firmware development.
Mechanical knowledge is an advantage for effective collaboration with other engineering disciplines.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Strong communication skills to convey technical information clearly.
