Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Field Service Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in mechanical and electrical systems, with the ability to troubleshoot and maintain equipment in various settings. This role involves working closely with clients to ensure their systems are operating efficiently and effectively, providing exceptional customer service while addressing any technical issues that may arise.

Duties

Install, maintain, and repair mechanical and electrical systems at customer sites. Interpret and work from AutoCAD drawings and schematics to facilitate repairs and installations. Troubleshoot issues related to logic controllers and other automated systems. Provide on-site technical support, ensuring minimal downtime for customers. Conduct regular maintenance checks and preventative measures to enhance system performance. Document all service activities, including repairs made and parts used, for accurate record-keeping. Collaborate with the engineering team to develop solutions for complex technical problems. Deliver exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns promptly.

Requirements

Proven mechanical knowledge with experience in maintaining industrial equipment. Strong electrical skills, including familiarity with logic controllers and automated systems. Proficiency in reading AutoCAD drawings and schematics is highly desirable. Excellent problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail. Strong interpersonal skills with a commitment to providing outstanding customer service. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in various environments. Willingness to travel to client sites as required for service calls.
