Allstaff Recruitment are currently seeking a Field Service Engineer covering North London, Essex, Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire and Buckinghamshire for an international equipment manufacturing company.

Summary of the Field Service Engineer role\xe2\x80\xa6

Salary: \xc2\xa316- \xc2\xa317.30 per hour
Job Location: Field-based \xe2\x80\x93 Covering North London, Essex, Herts, Beds and Bucks
Type of Contract: Permanent, Full time
Hours: 40 hours a week, Monday \xe2\x80\x93 Friday 8:00am \xe2\x80\x93 4:30pm + Overtime

The role\xe2\x80\xa6

As the Field Service Engineer your role will involve the following important duties:

• Diagnostic work of earthmoving equipment using a laptop.
• Carry out effective maintenance and repair work on equipment on customer sites.
• Service, inspection and repair of earthmoving machinery and equipment.
• Return all warranty and other return parts cleaned and on time.
• Escalate actions in relation to broken or damaged company equipment.

The experience required\xe2\x80\xa6

As a successful Field Service Engineer, you will have the following:

• Mechanical, electrical and hydraulic engineering experience.
• Heavy Plant or agriculture experience.
• NVQ Level 3 in a related industry.
• Full clean driving licence.
• Strong IT skills with the ability to run diagnostic repairs.
