With strategic expansion plans, an opportunity has arisen for a Field Service Engineer to join their team in Swindon.

Working within a small team of talented Service Engineers, you will take ownership of the Mechanical preventative and reactive maintenance work.

The key responsibilities for your new role are as follows:

• Visual inspection activities, cleaning and report to management team;
• Routine maintenance activities on modules, inverters, cables and connectors, DC and AC distribution boxes;
• Routine maintenance activities on module mounting systems, fence and gates, inverter and transformer stations (excluding equipment);
• Routine maintenance activities on monitoring and communication equipment (data logger, routers, sensors, etc.);
• Routine maintenance activities on security system devices (cameras, barriers, etc.);
• Fault finding on electrical components by means of visual inspections or professional site measurement activities (thermal imaging, insulation tester, etc.);
• Execute corrective measures to keep the system available.
• Engage and manage subcontractors;
• Called to perform reactive and corrective maintenance activities as well as, from time to time to manage subcontractors and control quality of activities performed.

My client is keen to hear from people who possess a NVQ Level 3 electrical certification. (or similar qualification), Ideally you would also have experience in the installation and maintenance of electrical systems for industrial sites and also experience in the photovoltaic business would be a plus but not essential

Regardless of previous expertise, you will be both motivated and pragmatic, by nature, and have the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

In return, my client is offering a salary of \xc2\xa338,000 p.a dependant on experience, their excellent benefits package includes 25 days holiday and standby/call outs paid for.

You will require a full valid and clean licence as you will be provided with a vehicle and fuel card.
