We have an exciting opportunity Field Service Engineer based in Sheffield for one of our clients on a full-time permanent basis. Our client is a large, growing and reputable manufacturer and supplier of construction equipment on a national and international scale.
Summary of the Field Service Engineer role
Salary: 17.45 - 19.36 per hour
Location: Sheffield
Type of Contract: Permanent
Hours: 40 hours plus overtime
Responsibilities of the Field Service Engineer

Carry out maintenance and repair work on earthmoving equipment.
Carry out, servicing, inspection and repair of earthmoving machinery.
Diagnostic work and fault finding.
Participate in the early stages with the effective processing of warranty claims.
Escalate actions in relation to broken or damaged company equipment.
Coordinate with customers ensuring their requirements are understood and met.

Requirements for a successful Field Service Engineer

Mechanical and electrical engineering experience.
Heavy Plant or agriculture experience.
NVQ Level 3 in a related industry.
Full clean driving licence.
Strong IT skills with the ability to run diagnostic repairs.
