I am currently recruiting on behalf of my client who are a worldwide leader of specialist equipment within the medical industry. They now have a vacancy for a Field Service Engineer to join their team in Sheffield. The successful Field Service Engineer will travel to customer sites throughout Yorkshire and will carry out the service and repair of the company\'s equipment mainly involving electrical and electronic components.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work for a global engineering company with great staff retention rates. This would suit an engineer who likes variety and flexible working as well as travelling to customer sites but enjoys being home every evening. Field Service Engineer Requirements:

  • Hold a recognised electronic/electrical engineering qualification - level 3 as a minimum.
  • Strong fault finding and diagnostic skills with an interest in problem solving.
  • Candidates must be self motivated with the ability to work using own initiative.
  • Efficient planning and organisation skills.
  • Prepared to work an on-call rota - 1 in 8 weeks.
  • IT literate.
  • Hold a full UK driving licence.
Field Service Engineer Benefits:
  • Salary is up to \xc2\xa346,000.
