Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Field Service Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our machines for our customers.
Duties
Service, repair, maintenance, modifications, software and adjustments of medical and endoscopewasher/disinfectors/drying and storage systems including track and trace programs
Complete and record all necessary site related documentation
Implement Wassenburg's quality procedure
Identify improvements on both products and systemsoDue to the nature of the work and geographical location of sites, be prepared to work away fromhome as required by the business
On site engineer and user training
Training, coaching and first line support for new engineers
Periodic quarterly and yearly service, testing and calibration of medical and endoscope washer/disinfector machines and drying and storage systems
Create on site validation reports including lab reporting
Registered Test Person CP(D)
Ownership of specific site issues/problems
Service, repair, calibration, modifications and adjustments of third party products within the portfolio
Qualifications
Minimum Level 3 in Mechanical and or Electrical Engineering. That can be NVQ Level 3, City and Guilds, B-TEC, HNC or above.
Time served trades person ideally with an apprenticeship or ex-military background is also accepted.
Must have field-based experience and not workshop based.
Ideally industry qualified and experience in decontamination..
Excellent customer facing communication skills, both written and verbal, to convey technical information clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
A proactive approach to problem-solving with a keen eye for detail.
Remuneration:
Starting salary - 30-35K
CP(D) Validation Quarterly 37,389.00
CP(D) Validation Annual 43,116.40
+OTE
Career progression to Senior Service Engineer, Technical Support Engineer, Regional Lead Engineer.
