Job Title: Surveyor & Service Engineer


Location: Hinckley, Leicestershire (with nationwide travel)


Salary: 28,000-32,000 per annum (dependent on experience)


Contract: Full-Time, Permanent



Role Overview



This role involves conducting accurate job site surveys and providing product servicing and aftercare support to customers across the UK. The position plays a crucial role in delivering outstanding customer service and maintaining high standards of quality, efficiency, and professionalism throughout all service-related activities.

Key Responsibilities



Conduct accurate surveys at customer sites for installation and service purposes Deliver exceptional customer service to meet and exceed client expectations Collaborate with the Customer Service Installations Coordinator for job allocation Perform servicing and aftercare in a timely and accurate manner Maintain accurate records of service visits and aftercare documentation Troubleshoot and resolve service or warranty issues promptly Communicate effectively with internal departments such as Production and Product Development to resolve technical issues and suggest improvements Inspect incoming and outgoing components and report any discrepancies Operate pneumatic and electric hand tools as needed Ensure safe and courteous driving to and from customer locations Travel nationwide with varying distances as required Maintain a clean, tidy, and professional personal and vehicle appearance Conduct routine vehicle safety checks Report any performance-affecting issues to the line manager Meet and report progress on daily and weekly targets Maintain a strong focus on delivering high-quality results

Skills & Experience Required



Experience conducting job surveys Experience in window and door installation Background in UPVC or window manufacturing is an advantage Experience using powered hand tools desirable Full European Category B driving licence Flexible with working hours to meet customer needs Excellent attention to detail and high standards of quality Able to work independently and proactively solve problems Strong communication and interpersonal skills Professional, courteous, and honest approach Positive attitude towards innovation and continuous improvement Self-motivated and eager to grow within a fast-developing business
