On-Target Earnings:

60,000+ with overtime and on-call payments

Role Overview

We're seeking an experienced

Service Engineer

to join a growing team that specialises in

automatic and industrial door systems

.

This is a permanent, full-time role covering sites across the Midlands. You'll carry out service, maintenance, fault finding, and installation work while representing a highly respected employer in the industry.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

Carry out planned servicing and reactive maintenance Install and repair automatic doors, shutters, and industrial systems Accurately diagnose electrical and mechanical faults Complete job sheets and reports via a company-issued tablet Respond to emergency call-outs (rota approx. 1 in 5/6 weeks) Follow health & safety procedures on all customer sites Deliver excellent service and maintain strong client relationships

Requirements

At least 2 years' experience working with automatic door systems EN16005 or BS7036 qualification (or willingness to gain it) Confident with mechanical repairs and basic electrical work Full UK driving licence Familiarity with tablets and basic job management software

Preferred but Not Essential

Certifications such as ADSA, IPAF, PASMA, CSCS, or DHF Experience with industrial doors Strong communication and fault-finding skills
