Job RequirementsTechnical education in Mechanical Design, Industrial Drafting, or Product Development. Familiarity with manufacturing documentation, including Bills of Materials (BoMs), technical specifications, and manufacturing drawings. Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with internal teams, including Sales, Customer Service, Application Engineering, and Production. Experience with filter bags, textile components, or similar industrial products and their manufacturing processes is a plus.

ResponsibilitiesCreate and maintain technical drawings and specifications for filter bags based on customer input and internal requirements. Generate and archive customer-approved drawings before production release. Ensure that all drawings and specifications are stored in a centralized system for easy access, reuse, and traceability. Prepare comprehensive BoMs, manufacturing specifications, and defined production labour steps. Support cost estimation efforts, including raw materials, fabrication processes, packaging, and overheads. Act as a backup for the primary person responsible for bag product costing. Collaborate with Sales, the Application Engineering team, and Production to clarify technical requirements and customer expectations. Coordinate/provide product samples according to customer needs.

Qualifications / ExperienceDegree or vocational training in Mechanical Drafting, Industrial Design, or Engineering Technology. 2-3 years of experience in drafting using AutoCAD or similar CAD software, preferably within a manufacturing or technical design environment. Proficiency in CAD software and experience with document management systems. Knowledge of manufactured filtration product, sewing/fabrication processes, or industrial textile products is highly desirable. Strong ability to interpret technical input and produce clear, accurate documentation to support cross-functional workflows. Highly organized and detail oriented. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite ERP experience (SAP) is highly desirable.
