Location: Hybrid - Home Working & Office Working (Min 1 day a week in our Horsforth Head Office)
Salary: 24k - 27k

About the role:
This is an exciting role, and a great opportunity to join Perform Partners, as a Financial Administrator. We're an award winning Technology and Business Change Consultancy. Working within our highly skilled and growing finance team, you will provide a broad range of financial services. You will be taking on a range of financial administration duties, including: reconciliation, invoicing, payroll, supporting maintaining Xero (our financial software package), inputting financial data and running reports ready for analysis. You will help with account management & commercial reporting. You will also have the opportunity to lead on forecasting & budgeting in certain business areas.

Roles & Responsibilities:
Financial data inputting and reconciliation
Preparing customer invoices, and ensuring all invoices are raised in a timely fashion
Coordinating supplier payments
Providing payroll support
Providing resource management support
Maintaining accurate data in Xero (our financial software) and providing reports as and when required and supporting with the analysis of the reports
Supporting with R&D and Grant opportunities
Managing and reporting on departmental operating costs
Supporting with providing company level financial analysis
About you:
Essential Requirements:
Good knowledge or working experience of accounting principles
Strong communication skills and ability to communicate with senior leaders. Able to communicate financial matters (both verbal and written) effectively to a diverse range of individuals, with varying levels of financial literacy.
Knowledge of bookkeeping or financial tracking
Attention to detail and accuracy coupled with a 'can do' attitude
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
Financially and commercially aware, with excellent attention to numerical detail.
Motivated for a career in finance
Able to work to tight month end reporting deadlines, along with the ability to prioritise workload effectively.
Comfortable embracing a full range of duties from data entry/processing through to reporting financial performance to management.
Desirable Requirements:
Degree or equivalent qualification or experience in Accounting / Finance / Business Management
Previous experience working within a finance department or in a similar financial administration role
Working knowledge of using Financial / accounting Software
A proven track record of working accurately within a transactional environment
