Your base will be the Advonet office at The Unity Business Centre. We offer flexible working, including home and off-site working, where it suits service needs. However, we expect colleagues to meet both clients and team members in person as well as online.
1. To provide day-to-day administrative support to the rest of the Finance Team
2. To complete all monthly, quarterly and annual processes in line with our procedures
Main Duties and Responsibilities
1. To complete payroll administration monthly
2. To ensure purchase invoices are checked, processed and paid in a timely way as part of the purchasing process. Deal with any queries and issues that may arise
3. To process expenses and pay in line with current policy
4. To issue sales invoices and undertake credit control procedures
5. To manage the Finance inbox and ensure emails are dealt with in a timely fashion
6. To operate petty cash and maintain detailed records
7. To input and process expenses
8. To assist with preparation for financial audits
9. To maintain relevant organisational records, including handling and reporting of confidential information
10. To maintain filing, administration and archiving systems (both electronic and manual) in a methodical and accurate manner
General Responsibilities
1. To work in such a way as to maintain one's own and colleagues' health and safety
2. To participate in one-to-one sessions and team meetings
3. To participate in the Performance and Development Review (PDR) process, undertaking any training and development agreed
4. To comply with The Advonet Group Management Expectations and the policies of The Advonet Group
5. To maintain a suitable balance between all these activities
Statutory and Contractual Responsibilities
1. To ensure that Data Protection, Health & Safety, Complaints Handling and Corporate Governance requirements are met
2. To ensure that The Advonet Group complies with its contracts and other funding agreements
3. To ensure The Advonet Group submits accurate and timely reports and returns to internal and external stakeholders e.g. funders, Trustees
