Finance Administrator Fixed Term / Secondment Until May 2026

Job Description

We are looking for a Direct Payments and Personal Health Budgets Finance Administrator to provide exceptional customer service to our stakeholders until May 2026. You'll be an integral part of the managed financial services finance team; delivering comprehensive holding accounts services.


You'll ensure that income is allocated accurately to client holding account, invoices are captured and allocated to the correct project code and payments are authorised and paid following strict guidelines set.


You'll routinely deal with high volumes of data input accurately and efficiently, therefore good keyboard skills and attention to detail is essential.


This is a Hybrid role, therefore travel to our Enham Trust Hub, in Andover Hampshire will be essential to attend regularly for the initial training period. Once fully trained you'll work 1-2 days in the office per week.

About the role




Deliver comprehensive holding accounts services; ensuring income is allocated accurately, payments are authorised and paid following strict LA and CCG requirements.


Holding accounts are audited and monitored in line with contract requirements; ensuring KPIs and internal quality standards are achieved.


Maintain audit trail for all transactional processing.


Work closely with all stakeholders, to ensure any queries are resolved in a timely manner.


Promote the services we provide acting as a support for Information, Advice and Guidance services, and Enham Trust.


Support with the calculation and finalisation of surplus refunds and closed cases as required. Support with the production of monitoring reports for management and commissioners.


Maintain a high quality of accuracy whist routinely dealing with high volumes of data i.e. provider invoice.


Maintain segregation of duties within Access Financials, Clients' Monies Services (CMS) and banking systems.


Ensure transactions are processed against multiple systems to maintain client account reconciliations.


Contribute to our commitment of continuous quality improvement, working collaboratively with all members of the team.


Any other duties that may be required from time to time.

Educated to GCSE Standard (or equivalent), including passes in English and Maths.


Desirable, but not essential as training provided: Experience of working with high volumes of financial transactions, ideally in a purchase ledger role.


Experience of working in a transaction processing office environment, including the ability to cope with high volumes of processing accurately and keeping to strict deadlines.


Good keyboard skills and attention to detail


Ability to act with discretion and confidentiality


Ability to work as part of a team and be flexible in approach to hours worked (particularly at month and year end).
