Scape Finance Team




The Scape UK finance team is based in Harrogate and provides accounting and finance to the UK assets, including management companies, operational assets and development assets. The teams work includes investor reporting, management accounting, statutory reporting, accounts payable, accounts receivable and payroll.

Harrogate


Hours:

35 hours per week, with core hours 10am-4pm (4 days to be office-based)


The Role




We are looking for a proactive and organised Finance Administrator to join our team. This role supports the finance department with day-to-day administrative and financial tasks, ensuring the smooth running of key processes across accounts, office management, and supplier relations.


Responsibilities include:




Finance & Administration


Post and process purchase invoices accurately and promptly. Liaise with the business to chase purchase orders, confirm coding and cost splits, and ensure approvals are completed in line with company policy. Raising of purchase orders on behalf of the Finance team Manage the finance inbox, responding to queries and escalating when necessary. Send out supplier remittances and assist with payment runs. Handle supplier call backs. Ensure supplier bank details are periodically reviewed and verified within the finance system to maintain data accuracy and reduce risk.

Office & Operations


Sort and distribute post to relevant departments. Manage Amazon and other office supply orders, ensuring stock levels and budgets are maintained. Support general office administration tasks as needed.

Team & Culture


Organise team socials and events. Provide ad hoc admin support as needed

Skills & Experience




Previous experience in a finance or administrative role. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry. Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Outlook). Experience with finance systems or accounting software is an advantage. Excellent organisational and communication skills. A team player with a can-do attitude and willingness to get involved in a variety of tasks
