Sabeti Wain Aerospace Ltd is a world leader in the design & manufacturer of bespoke aircraft interiors and upholstery systems.

The Finance Administrator will provide essential support to the finance team, ensuring accurate and timely processing of financial transactions across the purchase ledger, sales ledger, and general accounting functions. The role requires strong attention to detail, good organisation, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:



Purchase Ledger



Process supplier invoices accurately and in accordance with company procedures. Match invoices to purchase orders and delivery notes. Handle invoice discrepancies, price queries, and resolve issues with suppliers and internal departments. Maintain up-to-date supplier accounts and statements, performing monthly reconciliations. Allocate supplier payments made via bank, paypal, credit, etc

Sales Ledger



Generate and issue sales invoices and credit notes in line with company billing cycles. Allocate customer payments received via bank, card, etc Monitor outstanding customer balances and assist with credit control activities. Send customer statements and support the Finance Team with debt-chasing when required.

General Finance Administration



Assist with month-end processes, including reconciliations and reporting. Maintain accurate financial records and filing systems, ensuring compliance with audit requirements. Update spreadsheets, financial trackers, and internal systems. Assist with reconciliations and petty cash administration. Provide general administrative support to the Finance team as needed. Support the Finance Manager with ad-hoc reporting, projects, and continuous improvement activities.

Key Skills & Competencies



Strong numeracy and financial accuracy. Excellent attention to detail and ability to work to deadlines. Good communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to prioritise workload and manage multiple tasks. Strong problem-solving skills and proactive approach to resolving queries. High level of confidentiality, professionalism, and reliability. Competent in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, basic formulas). Experience with accounting software (Sage, or similar) is desirable.

Experience & Qualifications:



Essential:



Previous experience in a finance or accounts administration role. Practical experience with purchase ledger and/or sales ledger duties. Understanding of basic accounting principles.

Desirable:



AAT Level 2 or Level 3 (or working towards). Experience using digital accounts payable/receivable systems. Experience working within a busy finance or office environment.
