Oakbury Watches is a growing luxury watch retailer specialising in high-value timepieces. We are looking for a reliable and detail-focused Finance Administrator to support our day-to-day financial operations.

This role is ideal for someone with strong Xero experience who is confident managing VAT returns, reconciliations, and general finance administration in a small but professional business.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain accurate records using Xero Prepare and submit Vat Returns Reconcile bank accounts, payment platforms, and merchant services Raise sales invoices and process purchase invoices Manage sales and purchase ledgers Monitor incoming payments and assist with credit control Support month-end reconciliations and reporting Liaise with external accountants when required Maintain organised financial records and documentation Processing Payroll

Skills & Experience Required

Previous experience in a finance or accounts administration role Strong working knowledge of Xero ( essential) Experience preparing VAT returns High level of accuracy and attention to detail Good organisational and time-management skills Ability to handle confidential financial information professionally Comfortable working independently in a small team

Desirable (but not essential)

AAT qualification or working towards one Experience in retail or high-value transactions Familiarity with payment platforms such as Stripe or Open Banking providers
