The role
This role sits within the accounts team alongside our Credit Controller and reporting to the Financial Controller.
As Finance Administrator you will contribute to the day-to-day financial health of the business by supporting the accounts team with payments, invoicing, reporting, reconciliation and other administrative tasks. We operate financially across the UK, EU and US with a high volume of internal transactions across regions.

What you can expect
Day to day ownership
Responsible for customer invoicing
Processing transactions across inter companies (UK, EU, US)
Checking and inputting creditor invoices
Preparing and checking overseas payments
Credit control
Supporting on other administrative tasks as and when needed
Reporting
Produce and analyse weekly freight reports
Generate margin reports
Pull and analyse customer sales data
Banking reconciliation
Analyse and interpret data sets
About you
You are meticulous, with a keen interest in commercial finance. Your obsession with accuracy and keen eye for analysis ensures the details never go unnoticed.
Our ideal candidate will:
Have experience in a similar finance role, ideally in a commercial business
We are looking for someone who is at home in an excel spreadsheet and can pull large amounts of data with the ability to analyse and comment on it. You'll have experience of multiple-company transactions and be comfortable working across multiple currencies. You will take pride in your attention to detail and high accuracy rate.
Be solutions focussed
You're a team player who can work independently and is motivated by finding solutions. You'll enjoy building relationships with both internal and external stakeholders to support your problem solving. Your practically minded with the ability to think creatively when needed.
Team player
You're an excellent communicator, able to liaise with colleagues at all levels. You're happy to pitch in and support your colleagues when necessary, and likewise, you know when to ask for help. You have the desire to understand the wider business and how each department operates and effects your own work to work more efficiently.
Experience of Quickbooks and SAP desirable but not a dealbreaker.
