The Opportunity

As our Finance Administrator, you'll manage invoicing, reconciliations, and day-to-day financial processes, ensuring records are precise, timely and well-organised. In this newly created role, you'll work closely with customers, suppliers, and internal teams to resolve queries and support smooth financial operations. You'll join a focused team tackling complex engineering challenges, with the freedom to take ownership of your work and see the direct impact of your contribution.

What you'll be doing



Invoice & Payment Processing



Input and process purchase invoices accurately and on time Support the preparation of sales invoices and end-of-month statements Process expenses and company credit card transactions

Reconciliations & Queries



Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies Address customer and supplier queries promptly and professionally Follow up on outstanding debt and late payment issues

Administration & Support



Support colleagues with ad-hoc finance tasks and smooth operations Maintain accurate records and document management Contribute to process improvements where appropriate

What we're looking for



Experience:

Some previous experience in a finance role, such as sales/purchase ledger and processing high volumes of invoices, expenses, and credit card transactions

Systems:

Experience with modern finance software (preferably Infor Cloudsuite Industrial)

Computer Literacy:

Proficient in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace

Attention to Detail:

High level of accuracy in all tasks

Attitude:

Positive, proactive and adaptable with a strong work ethic

Communication:

Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills

Integrity:

Ethical, reliable, and committed to supporting business growth

Qualifications:

Applicants must be on the AAT pathway qualification, enrolled onto level 1 as a minimum.
