Finance Administrator
to join our team on a temporary basis, initially for
three months
.
Position Summary
As part of the Finance team you will be working alongside the current team in our Leicester office to provide a high level of support to the finance department. Tasks will include updating financial records with a specific emphasis on Sales Ledger (including credit control), Purchase Ledger and Cash Book processing. There will also be a level of administrative work around expenses, petty cash and sales order processing. These elements are not exhaustive and further duties may be added as necessary.
The ideal candidate will have a broad understanding about finance administration activities and will enjoy working in a challenging SME environment.
Essential Requirements
You'll be great in this role if you enjoy working with numbers, have an eye for detail, and are confident using Excel. Key skills and qualities include:

Intermediate Excel skills (data handling & pivot tables)

Able to understand and calculate the VAT content transaction values - purchase invoices and expenses

Well organised - able to prioritise, multi-task and work independently
Happy taking direction and confident enough to ask for clarification when required
Desirable Requirements
Computerised accounting systems experience (Sage Intacct, would be a distinct advantage)
Experience of working with/in an accounting/bookkeeping environment
Channel or Reseller experience is an advantage
B2B business process knowledge
Workflow business process experience

The candidate must be able to demonstrate some of the above skills, knowledge and outcomes at the point of interview.
Benefits
Salary 25,000 - 27,000 per annum (depending on experience and qualifications)
