A fantastic opportunity exists for a highly skilled Finance Administrator to join our Finance department. We are looking to appoint an individual to undertake a wide range of duties. Previous knowledge of school financial and administrative systems would be an advantage but training will be given.
Job Purpose
The Finance Administrator will provide comprehensive financial and administrative support to the Finance Director in the smooth and efficient running of the school, including maintaining financial records, processing payments, cash handling and payroll.
Duties/Tasks and Responsibilities
To undertake the efficient and accurate preparation and input and maintenance of data into the company financial system operated by the school.
To ensure routine operating controls and procedures are carried out and followed through so that information is accurate prior input into financial system
Control of purchase ordering system, Orders, Authorisation, goods received checks and matching to purchase invoices.
Liaison with external suppliers over invoicing queries
Perform suppliers statement reconciliations prior payment authorisation requests.
Maintenance of office paperwork and Administration trails for eventual audit.
To maintain petty cash float, income and expenditure with proper authorisation and entry into financial system.
Act as a point of contact and help re any queries from Staff and external parties.
Performing company financial information, bank reconciliations and nominal account reconciliations.
Checking company software reporting for accuracy and performing reconciliations as necessary.
Use of Excel as back up support for financial reporting.

Hours of Work
Full time, 08.30 - 17.00 Monday to Friday, 52 weeks per year. You are entitled to take 25 days plus bank holidays per year.
Salary range 25,,465.00 - 30,000 depending on experience.
