We are seeking a
Finance Analyst
to support the timely and accurate delivery of key financial activities, including management accounts, reconciliations, audit preparation, and financial analysis. This role is vital to maintaining strong financial controls and providing insights that drive informed business decisions.

Bury St Edmunds (Hybrid -- min. 2 days/week in office)
Key responsibilities:
Support the preparation of monthly management accounts, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and variance analysis
Ensure the timely and accurate submission of financial reports to relevant stakeholders
Monitor budget performance, preparing variance analyses and commentary for management
Track and analyse operational costs, preparing reports and insights to support cost-saving initiatives
Perform reconciliations of key accounts, including bank, intercompany, and balance sheet accounts
Contribute to the smooth running of month-end and year-end close processes
Prepare and post accruals, prepayments, and journal entries as required
Assist with internal and external audits by providing documentation, schedules, and responses to queries
Ensure compliance with financial regulations, company policies, and internal control requirements
Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and supporting documentation
Deliver ad-hoc financial analysis and reports to support management decision-making
Contribute to the development of financial models to assess project feasibility and profitability
Support the maintenance and enhancement of financial systems and processes
Proactively identify opportunities to streamline workflows and improve efficiency.
