This is a Finance Analyst in the Financial Reporting team based in Glasgow. The purpose of this role is to prepare monthly financial reporting packs and provide insightful analysis to our Board and Executive Committee.
The Finance Analyst will work collaboratively with stakeholders across the business to conduct analysis of actual performance against budget and be comfortable in presenting this to senior stakeholders.
Additionally, this is an exciting time to join the team as the role will play a key part in the evolution of the team by utilising technology to drive process efficiencies and improvements.
Preparing and analysing monthly financial reporting packs for the Executive Committee and Board
Conducting in-depth variance analysis and providing insightful commentary having worked closely for stakeholders across the business
Presenting financial performance to a range of stakeholders
Identifying and implementing process efficiencies, primarily through utilising available technology
Part qualified / qualified accountant / QBE
Able to demonstrate previous experience of analysing Financial Statements
Strong analytic skills, with an ability to provide clear and concise information from large datasets
Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
Evidence of engaging and building relationships with stakeholders across all levels
