to join our growing team and play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of both our financial and administrative functions. This is a varied and hands-on position that requires excellent organisational skills, a sound understanding of financial processes, and a customer-focused mindset.
You'll be working closely with the Head of Finance to support core accounting processes while also managing key administrative responsibilities across the business, taking ownership of queries and contributing to continuous improvements in how we operate.

Key Responsibilities
Finance Support
Oversee day-to-day financial administration, including processing supplier invoices, purchase orders, staff expenses, credit control and bank reconciliations
Support month-end and year-end processes: journal entries, accruals, financial reporting
Assist with cash flow monitoring, budgeting support, and variance analysis
Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using [ Sage and Xero]
Contribute to the improvement of financial controls and processes
Office & Customer Service
Manage company documentation, databases, and filing systems with a focus on data protection and confidentiality
Provide support to our customers and suppliers over the phone, online, and via email.
Assisting with processing customers incoming orders & invoicing along with coffee machine call outs and maintenance scheduling using various software platforms.
Collaborate with all other departments and external contractors to ensure all customer expectations are exceeded.
Onboard new customers from the Sales team
About You
We're looking for someone who brings both financial expertise and a proactive approach to supporting the wider team. You will be:
Experienced
in finance and administration (minimum 2-3 years in a similar role)
Proficient in using finance systems and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel)
Detail-oriented with strong numerical and analytical skills
Able to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism
A confident communicator, both written and verbal, with strong interpersonal skills
Able to prioritise a busy and varied workload, working independently and as part of a team
Customer-focused with a positive and solutions-driven attitude
AAT Level 2 or above (or at least 2 years in finance/accounting role)
Experience with Xero, Sage, or other accounting software
Experience in a small-to-medium business and fast-paced environment

From 28,000 - 35,000 DOE
Hours:
Monday - Friday 9-5pm
