We would like you to come and be part of our small and friendly Golf Club.
Established in 1884, Southwold is a traditional club with over 400 playing and social members, and in a beautiful location.
We are looking for someone who is organised and efficient, with a pleasant disposition and the ability to be welcoming to members and visitors to the club.
20 hours per week Mon to Fri, on site. Some flexibility, but mornings preferable
Free parking
Competitive hourly rate (minimum 15/ hour), to be agreed, dependant on skills and experience.
Reporting to SGC Secretary
Training and ongoing support will be provided.
Processing purchasing invoices and making payments
Use of Xero Accounting Software (experience would be an advantage, though training would be provided)
Supporting the Treasurer & Secretary with accounts, Membership subscriptions and monthly Management Accounts
Reconciling Control Account
Supporting Payroll, pension and HR actions
Analysis of the day-to-day golf management control systems
Dealing with member and visitor enquiries, by phone or in person
Supporting the Club Secretary in the management of the Club Website and social media accounts
Experience of Microsoft Office is essential, particularly Excel and Word
IT and social media literacy
Strong attention to detail with excellent organisational skills.
Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team.
Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively

Pay: 15.00 per hour
