Job Description

Status: Part-time 17.5 hours per week

Closing date: 5pm Friday, September 8th 2023. Interviews to be conducted Friday, 15th September 25th 2023.

Location: Stirling

Role: The Finance and Resources Officer, as part of the Corporate Team, will contribute to the sound financial management of the charity. Reporting directly to the Treasurer and the Board of Directors

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing financial management systems and processes, including preparing monthly management accounts and financial information for the annual financial audit, bank reconciliation of invoices and receipts. The recording and monitoring of income generated through donations and fundraising. Research and apply for Grants, monitor spend and reporting to funders. Processing of staff payroll and payment of expenses and mileage.

They will require to have excellent skills in financial management, particularly Excel and Sage Accounts and Sage Payroll. Experience of working in the charity sector would be helpful but not essential.
