About Us:

Play a leading role in managing Parking Services contracts with a human touch.

At the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea, we put local people at the heart of everything we do. We strive to make sure every service delivers the best for residents - and to treat every resident as an individual. This does not stop when we\'re dealing with people who owe the Council money as a result of accruing penalty charge notices for violating parking regulations.

As a senior member of the team, with responsibility to deputise for the Operations Manager Parking Finance and Debt, you will be a role model for a culture in which emotional intelligence guides every negotiation, to respectfully ensure rules are followed.

The Role:

As Senior Parking Finance and Debt Officer, you will manage multi-million-pound financial resources and contracts for Parking Services. This will include taking the lead on managing and monitoring the contract for enforcement agents\' services and other agencies providing parking debts on our behalf. You will be instrumental in making sure all of these contractors deal with issues sensitively, especially when customers may be vulnerable.

We will look to you to supervise finance and debt officers who are involved in high-volume transactions, and to motivate, advise and develop team members so they provide the highest standard of financial support, debt recovery and customer services. You will take responsibility for budget management and forecasting across parking income and debt recovery, and for closing parking services accounts. Your varied remit will range from checking reconciliations, to writing reports and undertaking financial modelling.
