Role and Responsibilities:



We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Finance Apprentice with an interest in starting a career in accounting to join the finance team of an IT distribution group with a combined turnover of 66m. This role is ideal for someone who wants to begin a career in accounting. You will gain hands-on experience supporting day to day finance operations, learning core accounting skills, and contributing to the smooth running of the accounts function.

The Accounts Apprentice will support the finance team with tasks such as:

Invoice posting

Staff Expenses

Credit card reconciliations

Customer rebates

Bank reconciliations

Journal posting

Nominal analysis

Intercompany reconciliations

Balance sheet reconciliations

Ad hoc duties as set by line manager

Desired Qualities, Skills and Knowledge:



Strong attention to detail and good numeracy skills

Good communication skills (written and verbal)

Basic IT skills (Microsoft Excel/Word/Outlook)

Willingness to learn and develop professionally

Good organisation skills and ability to manage multiple tasks
