As a result of the company's ongoing growth and recent restructuring, we are excited to announce a new opening for a Finance Apprentice at our office in Dartford, Kent.

The Role

FDS Contracting is looking for a motivated finance apprenticeship to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for the right person looking to start their career in finance, in a fast paced company.


Alongside your work, the finance apprentice will study towards their

AAT Level 2-4

depending on previous experience, which will allow professional development paired with practical experience and learning.


The finance apprentice will support the finance team, as well as working with the wider business, by assisting with daily finance operations and ensuring accuracy in our finance reports.

Key responsibilities:

Assist with inputting purchase ledger invoices, including resolving queries Assist with payment runs for our suppliers and subcontractors Support with raising applications and sales invoices Support with accurate project costing, including processing timesheets Reconciliations of credit cards, supplier accounts and bank accounts Provide general administration and finance support for the wider business

Requirements

Qualifications & Skills

English and Maths GCSE at grade 4 / C or above (or equivalent) Strong attention to detail Good numeracy skills Confident using MS office applications Eager and willing to learn Good communications skills
