Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented

Finance Apprentice

to join our finance team. This role is perfect for someone looking to begin a career in accounting while studying towards a recognised qualification such as

AAT

. The successful candidate will gain hands-on experience across a range of accounting functions and receive full support and mentorship throughout their professional development.

Key Responsibilities

Assist with processing purchase and sales invoices Maintain accurate financial records and ledgers Reconcile and manage petty cash Process expense claims and ensure timely payments Liaise with suppliers and subsidiaries to resolve finance-related queries Ensure compliance with internal financial policies and procedures Provide general administrative support to the finance team

Requirements Essential

A Level Maths GCSEs in Maths and English (Grade B/5 or above) Strong numerical and organisational skills Excellent attention to detail and accuracy Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel Willingness to learn and work towards an accounting qualification Good communication skills and a team-oriented mindset

Desirable

Previous work experience in a finance or office environment Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., Sage, Xero, QuickBooks)
