within Nova Systems International, you will be part of the Finance team providing accountancy support within the Nova Systems International business, across companies in the UK, Norway and Ireland
What you'll be doing;
Processing invoices and expenses in our Oracle ERP system
Preparing weekly supplier and other payments/Set up new suppliers
Month end procedures for Cash/Payables/Receivables
Weekly cash balance reporting to group and updating cashflow
Weekly reconciliation of bank accounts across all companies
Releasing sales invoices/liaison with Project services team
Providing information for Norway VAT returns
Preparing and filing Irish VAT return
Reconciling supplier statements and resolving queries
Credit card reconciliations
Daily monitoring of Finance inbox and clearing queries
Audit expense claims
Collate info for Norway payroll
Posting journals as required
Reporting on debtors as required
Ad hoc assistance as required
Essential Skills, Knowledge and Attributes
ACCA Qualified or Part Qualified (ideally close to qualifying)
Previous experience of working in a similar role , within a finance environment
Ability to deliver tasks on time and with a high degree of autonomy and accuracy, whilst maintaining momentum under pressure
Flexible, positive and committed team member, who works to very high standards
Competence in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Demonstrates a commitment to professional development
Takes initiative to update both own, colleagues and subordinates' skills

The Team
Led by Mark Longhorn Head of Finance, there are 6 people in the UK team, Financial Accountant, Finance Business Partner, Payroll Manager and 2 Finance Assistants. All based in Bristol and work a minimum 3 days onsite.

Where are we?
Filton, North Bristol, we have free parking and there are good bus routes and Abbey Wood train station is 15 minutes walk from the office
