Smart Tec Solutions is part of Smart Tec Group operating throughout the UK offering Mechanical and Electrical Engineering services, specialising in retail, commercial and education sectors. We offer a true design and build service to all sectors.

Position



We are searching for an Accounts Assistant to join our team. This role would suit someone looking to develop their career in Finance in a fast-paced environment. You should have a positive work ethic and be proactive by nature, developing internal and external relationships using professional communication.

Main Duties and Responsibilities



Matching supplier invoices to purchase orders

Processing supplier invoices and making payments

Reconciling credit card statements

Reconciling supplier statements

Dealing with invoice queries

Processing employee expenses

Setting up new suppliers

Other adhoc duties when required

Requirements



Related experience in a finance based position

Excellent attention to detail

The ability to work under pressure and to deadlines

Highly organised

Desirable Skills/Experience



Experience of using Xero accounting software

some experience in HR

Experience in the construction industry including knowledge of CIS and DRC

AAT Level 2/3 or studying towards
