Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Finance Assistant to join our Accounting & Finance team. The role is based in Bishop's Stortford and involves supporting financial operations to ensure smooth and efficient processes.
- Assist with day-to-day financial transactions and maintain accurate records.
- Process invoices, payments, and reconciliations in a timely manner.
- Purchase Ledger and general invoicing queries
- Monitor and manage accounts payable and receivable processes.
- Bank Reconciliations
- Reconciling supplier accounts
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders regarding financial queries.
- Provide administrative support to the Accounting & Finance department.
- Identify opportunities for improving financial processes and efficiencies.
A successful Finance Assistant should have:
- Previous experience in an accounts role
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
- The ability to work effectively within a team-oriented environment.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
