edyn is a dynamic and expanding lifestyle accommodation company, operating Cove, Locke, and SACO brands, covering the corporate and leisure markets for accommodation needs across the UK and Europe. New ways of travelling and living have supported the growth of the business within the hotel sector and with private equity ownership the company has rapidly expanded into key European Gateway cities. The group (comprising of 59 entities across 10 jurisdictions), after rapid growth, is undertaking significant change to its organisational structure and a renewed focus on ways of working to drive long-term growth and efficiency.


We are seeking a detail-oriented and commercially minded Hotel Finance Manager to oversee the financial operations on a multi-site level. This role is critical in ensuring the accuracy of financial records, compliance with internal controls, and the delivery of timely and insightful financial reporting. The Finance Manager will work closely with the General Manager and department heads to support strategic decision-making and drive financial performance.


KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES

Financial Operations & Reporting




Co-ordinate at a control level with the day-to-day finance operations including accounts payable, receivable, payroll, and cash handling and hotel management. Prepare monthly accounts, forecasts, and variance analysis. Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end close processes. Clean up GRNI, ensure timely Purchase Order receipt and close out and other balance sheet reconciliation account close out. Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring ledger cleanliness and accuracy.

Compliance & Controls




Ensure compliance with internal financial policies, accounting standards, and statutory regulations at a Hotel level. Oversee capital expenditure tracking and ensure alignment with budget and approval processes. Support internal and external audits, providing documentation and resolving queries. Monitor and enforce internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure financial integrity. Ensure contractual basis is in place for all accruals.

Business Partnering




Collaborate with the General Manager and department heads to review budgets, forecasts, and financial performance. Provide financial insights and recommendations to support operational and strategic decisions.

Team Leadership




Foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. Ensure training and development plans are in place for hotel staff.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. High attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities. Proactive, hands-on, and adaptable in a dynamic environment. Excellent system and modelling skills (Excel, BI, Business Modelling tools, NetSuite, Sage and related systems). Working with PoS and integrations. Track record of strong financial performance and close relationship with key business teams and leaders. Autonomous and adaptable, ability to organise and prioritise multiple tasks and deadlines. Excellent attention to detail and an organised logical approach is essential. Be hands on, escalating if improvement is not actioned or requests not followed up.
