We are advertising for 2 posts:



1 x 0.4 (14.5 hours) standard & 1 x 0.5 (18.125 hours) fixed term to 31.5.26



The role of the Cash Office is to process all University income that is received from students, customers, schools and units. The team deals with all student enquiries regarding payment of fees, arranging instalment plans, providing advice regarding student loans. We liaise closely with credit control, financial accounts, student services, registry and admissions to deal with enquiries and to ensure information is shared and up to date.


The finance assistant role will have responsibility within the cash office section and will primarily involve collection of monies due to the university along with the proper recording and secure management of those monies.



The cash office also has a presence in the Advice and Support Centre (ASC) on a regular basis to deal with financial enquiries from students and manage the cash float held at the ASC.


We are looking to recruit a highly motivated, conscientious team player, with excellent customer service skills, who will be able to deal with processing receipts and any financial enquiries. You should also be IT competent and have excellent numeracy skills.



Personal qualities should include outstanding communication and organisational skills, adaptability, initiative and ability to work with minimum supervision.
