Job Description

This role would suit someone with some experience of Accounts Payable who wants to take the next step in their career and manage our Accounts Payable responsibilities and broaden their experience in our finance team. Study support is available.

Main Job Responsibilities:



Purchase Ledger Management (80%)



Processing Supplier Invoices: Accurately process supplier invoices, ensuring proper coding and entry into the system. Vendor Query Resolution: Collaborate with the Operations team to promptly resolve any queries. Weekly Payment Runs: Prepare weekly payment runs for both local and international suppliers. Supplier Statement Reconciliations: Conduct monthly reconciliations of supplier statements, ensuring all transactions are correctly reflected in financial records. Month-End Support: Assist with month-end tasks, including prepayments, accruals, and financial reporting for the UK and NL regions.

General Finance Support (20%)



Data Entry on QuickBooks: Perform accurate data entry for small side businesses using QuickBooks. Finance Mailbox Management: Monitor and respond to inquiries in the finance shared mailbox to provide timely support to internal and external stakeholders. Audit Assistance: Provide support during audit periods, including sampling tasks and preparing necessary documentation. Cross-Training: Be flexible in covering other finance roles during colleague holidays or sickness, ensuring smooth department operations. Ad Hoc Tasks: Assist the finance team with additional projects and tasks as required.

Key Competencies and Experience:



NAV/Business Central and QB experience is an advantage but not essential.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 28,000.00-30,000.00 per year
