We are seeking an organized and efficient Finance Assistant to join our team in Crewe, United Kingdom. As a Finance Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our finance department's daily operations and ensuring smooth financial processes.

Reconciling supplier invoices to our accounting system Approving invoices for payment Completing reconciliations for our suspense partners on the network Balance Sheet Accounting Supporting wider team with cover and ad hoc projects Collaborate with team members to improve financial processes and efficiency Respond to financial inquiries from internal departments and external stakeholders Perform general administrative duties as needed

Qualifications

Ability to prioritise and keep to deadlines within a fast-paced environment Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite - predominantly Excel and Access Strong written and verbal communication skills Work to a high degree of accuracy Strong numerical and analytical skills with a keen attention to detail Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment Adaptability and willingness to learn new systems and processes
