We are looking for a reliable and capable Finance Assistant to join our team and play a key role in supporting both day-to-day finance operations and management reporting. This role suits someone with a strong grasp of finance fundamentals who's looking to grow into a more analytical or business-partnering role over time.
You'll handle the core finance admin while also supporting budgeting, reporting and analysis - working closely with the HR Manager and senior leadership team to help inform decision-making.
The role is part-time, 3 days per week and we can be flexible about how this is split throughout the week.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Day to day finance operations, including purchase/sales ledger and reconciliations
Oversee and maintain our Sage accounting system
Liaise with external accountants to support year-end
Prepare reports (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow)
Identify improvements in financial systems, reporting and controls
ABOUT YOU
AAT qualified or working towards CIMA/ACCA (or equivalent)
Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role
High level excel skills
Confident communicator, able to work directly with senior stakeholders
Proactive and self-directed
Strong knowledge of financial software such as Sage
Experience working in a small business (desirable)

Salary 27,000-31,000 (FTE), 16,200-18,600 (PTE)
