Gleaner provides a wide range of fuels and lubricants for domestic, agricultural, commercial, marine and offshore customers from our network of depots throughout Scotland. These products include Heating Oils, Road Fuels and LP Gas. We are seeking to strengthen our team via the recruitment of a Finance Assistant to join our Finance Team.
This role will provide support to the Stock Manager and Finance Manager and is a key role within the finance team.
Key Responsibilities
:
Processing of supplier stock invoices and credit notes ensuring invoices are approved and matched to system GRN's.
Working with colleagues across the business to resolve invoice queries as and when they arise
Reconciliation of stock supplier statements on a monthly basis
Assist Stock Manager with month end stock reporting
Provide cover for tasks including, but not limited to Elavon, Shell cards, daily banking and Bottomline transactions.
Process petty cash transactions across Aberdeen, Elgin and Mintlaw depots. Taking ownership for petty cash within the Elgin depot.
Assist with month end tasks including preparation of monthly and quarterly misc. sales invoices,
Taking customer calls
Ad hoc tasks as agreed with line manager
The Person:
Previous finance experience required
Reliable and trustworthy
Good communication skills
High attention to detail
Ability to manage workload to ensure deadlines met
