The Role


We're looking for a

Finance Assistant

to join our Finance team. Reporting to the Finance Manager, you'll play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring smooth day-to-day finance operations. This role offers variety and responsibility, supporting everything from invoicing and reconciliations to project accounting and month-end processes.

What You'll Be Doing


- Managing project and supplier invoicing, reconciliations and project accounting records
- Maintaining sales records, general ledger, purchase orders, and payments in COINS
- Handling daily bank reconciliations and weekly supplier payment runs
- Managing accounts payable and receivable, resolving queries and monitoring credit limits
- Processing supplier, subcontractor, and employee expense invoices when required
- Supporting month-end and project close processes, including reconciliations and accruals
- Assisting with finance mailbox management and wider ad-hoc team support
- Ensuring compliance with company policies and financial standards

What We're Looking For


- Minimum 2 years' purchase or sales ledger experience
- Minimum 2 years' payroll experience
- Experience using COINS software
- Part AAT qualified (or working towards)
- Construction industry experience desirable
- Positive, proactive attitude with excellent attention to detail

Pay: 28,000.00-40,000.00 per year
