Finance Assistant

to cover maternity leave from

February to November.

This is a

part time

position working

30 hours

per week

Monday to Friday

based at Tong Garden Centre.

What you'll be up to:

Managing our accounts inbox and being the first point of contact for incoming calls Supporting the Purchase Ledger team with invoice postings on Sage Chasing invoice approvals each week - your persistence pays off! ? Reconciling supplier statements and keeping everything balanced ? Communicating with suppliers and colleagues in a friendly, helpful way - your people skills shine here ? Setting up new supplier accounts and maintaining existing ones with care Raising invoices on our Sales Ledger and keeping things ticking along smoothly Reconciling and posting credit card transactions Supporting the wider finance team and helping out with ad-hoc tasks as needed

Who you are:

A friendly, organised multitasker who loves numbers and a tidy inbox Experienced with accounting software and confident in finance admin (Desirable not essential) Happy to pick up the phone and chase things when needed Ready to jump in and be a supportive team player
