About the job

We are looking for a Finance Assistant to support the day-to-day running of the purchase ledger and income processing within our Finance team.
The role involves processing supplier invoices and payments, managing BACS runs, reconciling accounts, processing income and expenses, and liaising with suppliers and colleagues across the organisation. You will also help maintain accurate financial records, support month-end processes and assist with audits. Supervising finance volunteers may be required.
You will need experience using financial accounting systems, knowledge of accounts payable processes, strong IT skills, excellent attention to detail and good communication skills. An AAT qualification or equivalent experience is desirable.
